Partnership Incentive Tax Credit
A tax credit is available for companies in the State of Wisconsin who contract to work with Certified Work Centers like Opportunities, Incorporated.
A tax credit is available to companies that work with Community Rehabilitation Facilities (CRP's) like Opportunities, Inc. Links to the form and instructions can be found on the Wisconsin Department of Revenue's website
https://www.tax-brackets.org/wisconsintaxforms/schedule-cm
Please note that the tax credit is based on only the labor dollars paid to individuals with disabilities who are working on the project. For example, if there is an 8 person assembly line and 6 of those people have disabilities, your organization can take the credit against the labor of thos 6 individuals for the year.
Keep in mind the tax credit would not include overhead, materials purchased for non-disabled labor. The last important thing to note is that the credit does not require a contract between Opportunities and the customer claiming the credit.
